Summary terms & conditions applying to scheduled visits
- The charge for your job is calculated according to how long your job takes (unless you have made a booking at our half day/day/fixed price rates in which case you will be charged the rate quoted)
- Hourly/half-hourly standard rates (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm): Handyman…1/2 hour” to “Handyman – £42.50 + VAT for first 1/2 hour, then £22.50 + VAT for each subsequent 1/2 hour.; Plumber/Electrician – £75+VAT callout (up to 1 hour’s labour), then £37.50+VAT per ½ hour (out-of-hours rates are at a premium of £10+VAT per ½ hour);
- Payment is due at the end of each visit by cheque or card (credit card payments will incur a £2 transaction fee)
- Any estimate that you may have been given is purely indicative of a typical job duration and therefore subject to change
- Any estimate given to you when making a booking will apply to labour only and VAT will be added to this figure
- Any charges incurred for materials or parking will be passed on to the customer. Materials will be charged at cost+25%
- We are primarily a labour service although our tradesmen do carry a stock of fixings (we are able to source materials for you but we do charge a £20+VAT fee)
- Late notice policy for confirmed bookings: we require 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, otherwise a late notice charge will apply. For bookings at either i) our fixed day rate or ii) scheduled for after 6pm or a Saturday, the charge is the total estimated value of the booking. For all other bookings, the late notice charge is £20+VAT
