Jobs We Do / Tiling : Grouting


Grout goes between the tiles (as opposed to silicone which would go between the tiles and your bath or shower). After tiling, we can grout an entire shower cubicle in about 1 hour. However, removing old grout in order to regrout existing tiles is much more time consuming.

Handy hint

If you're just after a quick fix, we can use a grout pen to touch up old and mouldy grout.

Typical duration

  • Grout shower cubicle = 1 hour (we will need to return for 10 mins when the grout has dried to wash off the excess grout)
  • Remove old grout from shower cubicle = 4-8 hours
  • Touch up grout (using grout pen) in a shower cubicle = 30 mins
  • Grout around 1 tile = 30 seconds
