We will still propose our handymen for basic electrical work such as changing light bulbs. But for things like replacing transformers, switching switches, swapping light fittings or finding faults, our qualified and experienced electricians are still recommended to afford you peace of mind!
Part P
Now, we have added greatly to our electrical repertoire. The Handy Squad can with immediate effect undertake electrical work notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations, including full or partial installations and rewires. Most significant fixed electrical work at your home that involves the installation of new circuits or alterations to existing circuits is captured by Part P.
Moreover, with approved accreditation under the NAPIT Competent Persons Scheme, Part P jobs can be self-certified, meaning that relevant work is notified to building control and you receive a certificate of compliance in respect of the job done; you can be certain the work safely meets the highest electrical standards and have the evidence to prove it!
